Watch as the city’s mediaeval streets light up with thousands of candles, as the streetlights are turned off, making way for a charming and unforgettable experience.

Taking place between October 7 and October 9, across five venues including the beach club Café del Mar and the island’s famous UNO club, the incredible line-up includes names such as Kerri Chandler, Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada with a DJ set, and much, much more in a three-day festival that’s a must for all house and electronic music lovers.
Rolex Middle Sea Race

This one’s for the adrenaline seekers (and not only)! The Rolex Middle Sea Race will happen between October, 17 and October, 27 2022, and is once again expected to attract sailing enthusiasts from all over the world. Departing from Malta’s scenic Grand Harbour on October 22, spectators can view the series of starts from any of Valletta’s fortifications, making for some incredible views. Racing participants will travel through the Gulf of Messina, connecting the Ionian Sea with the Strait of Tyrrhenia, and also have the opportunity to sail past the active volcano Stromboli, and the island of Lampedusa. That is, before returning to Malta for the Prize Giving ceremony on October 29, held at the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre.
